Very cool and atmospheric! I enjoyed the visuals and sound a lot. I suck horribly at nailing boards. HORRIBLY.

I loved the general atmosphere of the game. Thunder did scare me a few times even hahaha.

(+1)

cool game dude! the atmosphere was awesome and the end was unexpected and it really got me. good job my man!

(+2)

Cool short game! I also found interesting the mechanics of putting the boards.

(+2)

This was fun! I totally didn't anticipate that ending! You could totally do a prequel and a sequel to this!

(+2)

Absolutely loved it! Very well done!

(+2)

Short yet intriguing and leaves me wanting to know more!

+1,000,000 if she looks in *your* eyes. :D Thank you for playing!

(+2)

I had a hard time figuring out the controls at first but once I did it turned out to be a good little game. I wish there was more scares though.

(1 edit) (+2)

Wish there was a way to rotate the item you are holding. Would have made the boards way easier to handle.

Loved the experience though! I look forward to seeing updates this game if you plan to continue development.

Good job on the game! I struggled a bit because I forgot the controls. I still figured it out though.

(+2)

Love the aesthetic/visuals, just wish it had more in it, or was longer

(+2)

Thank you for playing! Appreciate you going over your thoughts and collecting your feedback at the end. Cheers!

Well.... it was a fun game! Nice ending tho! At first a bit scared going outside but it was ok! Its a FUN and INTERESTING GAME!

(+3)

Fixing up your house in a world ending storm has never been more frustrating! I did love the mystery surrounding the ocupant of the bedroom though!

(+1)

Great video! Thank you for playing and for the feedback at the end. :)

(+2)

I lost my house
(+2)

It's a nice demo. Though I wish the house was a bit more spacious so that messing with the boards did  not interfere with my ability to walk around and such. Otherwise, not a bad game.

Here's my channel for other games I have played. http://www.youtube.com/c/Levont

Great vid, and thank you for playing! Appreciated your feedback at the end of the video. :)

(+2)

The atmosphere and style were amazing but the gameplay caused me physical and emotional pain. Its not the games fault, I just have no patience. Good job, i hated it. :)

(+2)

This was SO MUCH FUN to play/record! Very fast-paced, adrenaline filled gameplay. The boards were pretty tough to place on correctly, but I felt like that added to the overall experience. I really enjoyed this!!

(+2)

Cool game! I just hope that there's an easy way to rotate the board when holding them.

(+2)

Really spooky

Pros and cons are down below) Checko out my vid here (the game is the 1st there, likes and subs are highly appreciated):

Advantages:

1. I love the concpet. I mean, it's involving, simple, ironic and has a twist. That's great especially for such a short horror game! I loved the ending a lot! I think that even though planks were a bit frustrating from time to time, the ending was worth it!

2. I loved voice acting. It was kinda funny but still was building suspense. Especially lines about eyes. Very creepy!

Disadvantages:

1. It's rather hard picking up and carrying planks. Also, a bit weird that one can board up the window from the inside being outside, you know. Some planks are hard to pick up, some are almost impossible to bring inside the house. But at the end, it was all worth it.

2. It would be cool if looking or not-looking in the eyes would actually matter! Though, on the other hand, it's hard to imagine the other ending for this game.

Overall:

I think that was fresh, new and original! I have never seen something like that though I play horror games each day every day) Such a short horror game managed to surprise me! That is why it definitely deserves 5/5 star rating!

Hope my feedback was useful!

(+2)

Thanks for playing, and thanks for the thoughtful feedback :D

(+2)

Really unsettling, nicely done.

(+2)

Pretty good game, I highly recommend giving it a play! I made my first video on my channel based on this game, I also linked the game in the video description so if anybody actually manages to watch my mediocre content hopefully it will support you too!

(+1)

great game please check out my play through below x

(+2)

Thanks for the fun :D!

(+2)

Good PS1 graphics, really nailed the creepy desolated feel, it may be just me but the flashing lights get a little too heavy on the eyes after a while making it hard to fully enjoy the game. Other than that is a good game.

Thoughts:

"gotta bolt up deez windis", just keep popping up in my head every once in awhile like a catchy song.
This game oozed atmosphere, from the southern voiced protagonist to the sound of the approaching storm. After a little bit I even forgot I was playing a horror game until "The Bedroom". Which comes to second quote that's stuck in my head "Don't look in her eyes".

This is a really good little jam game game and I will look out for your name for future content. GGs

(+2)

Very cool game the don't look in her eyes was so unsettling.

(+2)

This was pretty cool. Unique game mechanic that was fun. Could be a little frustrating but because it was short (and there didn't seem to be a time limit) it worked really well. Nice job!

(+2)

Good game. I'm downloading your game

(+2)

nice! Honestly made me rage a bit but I laughed at myself a lot. Had a great time and it made for a great video!!

(+2)

Mad->Scared->Happy! Thank you for playing! :D

(+2)

thanks for making it!!

(+2)

Nice game bro, the History is amazing

(+2)

This was actually a fun little game. It had a feel like the world was falling apart around you and you could do nothing about it. I defiantly recommend this game.

Lol, great vid! Thank you for playing and glad you had fun! :)

(+2)

There was a scream at the end

(+2)

Really good game, didn't expect it to play out the way it did. Interesting gameplay too. Haven't seen it in other games at all so thats a great plus. only downside is placing the boards but its doable regardless. If you want to see more check out the vid and please keep making more games friend.

Thank you for testing the "look at the floor" strategy for us. ;) Also, thanks for playing and supporting us with this great vid! Glad you enjoyed it.

I am happy to have at least tried and not look at her in the eyes. It was a pleasure to play and I hope more come to you because of it.

(+2)

Amazing atmosphere and voice acting with a building (no pun intended) dread that leads to a satisfying pay off.  It's clear an enormous amount of technical work went into crafting the game, making the experience very worthwhile from both a narrative and game design perspective.

(+1)

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. Great vid, I like your vibe and commentary! Keep it up! :)

Thanks for playing!

(+3)

One of my first horror games. I really enjoyed playing it, and it creeped me out throughout the whole thing.

(+1)

Thank you! Welcome to the world of horror, and I hope you get to play many more of the great games that came out for this jam. :)

(+3)

The game was really fun and did a very good job at being scary. I really liked how large the area around the house was for exploring. For a small short game was extremely fun!

(+1)

Thank you for saying so, glad you enjoyed it! :)
